High performance standard white alloy for 18 carats, for mechanical works .

GENERAL INFORMATIONS 

Color: white - standard color coordinates: L * = 85.5 a * = 2.8 b * = 14.5.

Specific use: mechanical works.

Density: 14.56 g / cm³.

Hardness (as cast): 183 HV Hardness (after 70% deformation): 310 HV.

Nickel release UNI EN 1811: 2011: 0.14 μg / cm2 / week - COMPLIANT (max. 0.88 μg / cm2 / week).

INDICATIONS FOR SUGGESTED USE 

Melting temperature: 920 ° C.

Casting temperatures: 80 ° C above the melting temperature for continuous casting with immersion thermocouple. 100 ° C above the melting temperature for mold casting, or for continuous casting.

Bracket temperature: 150 ° C.

Bracket casting cooling: immediate in lukewarm water (about 40 ° C).

Annealing: 660 ° C for 25 minutes followed by rapid cooling in hot water (min. 40 ° C), preferably with alcohol.
