White Alloy for gold EM Pandora
Universal for 14 kt and 18 kt.
Specific use: lost-wax casting.
Colour: white.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Melting temperature in 18 kt: 880° C.
Melting temperature in 14 kt: 900° C.
Casting temperatures:
- 100 ° C above the melt temperature for casting methods, or by continuous casting.
- 100° C above the melt temperature for casting with centrifugal machines.
- 140° C above the melt temperature for casting in cylinders with intake.
- 120° C above the melt temperature for casting in vacuum machines in controlled atmosphere.
IMPORTANT: To get better quality in 14 kt, mixing the alloy as follows: 585 g + 40 g Ag + Au 375 EM = 1,000 g gold 14 kt very tender.
Ingot mold temperature: 150° C.
Cylinders temperature: from 550° C to 650° C depending on the machine and the object size.
Cast items cooling: in water after 10 minutes.
Ingot mold cooling: instant in warm water (about 40 ° C).
Annealing: 620 ° C for 20 minutes followed by rapid cooling in hot water (min. 40 ° C).
